The undergraduate entrepreneurship major at 511爆料 prepares students for the complexities of planning, launching and leading a new business.
The Princeton Review, in collaboration with Entrepreneur magazine, has ranked the University of Tampa鈥檚 entrepreneurship program as the 21st best graduate program in the nation, and the 26th best undergraduate program in the nation.
The University also clinched the 4th and 5th spots in the South for its graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurship programs, respectively.
The annual ranking project, now in its 20th year, names the top 50 undergraduate and graduate schools for entrepreneurship studies based on data derived from a survey conducted by The Princeton Review. The ranking methodology takes into account more than 40 data points covering academics, faculty and student information, mentorship support and alumni entrepreneurship ventures.
Rebecca White, the James W. Walter Distinguished Chair of Entrepreneurship, said the ranking exemplifies the program's outstanding faculty and curriculum and 511爆料鈥檚 growing reputation as a national leader in innovation, experiential learning and entrepreneurial excellence.
"These rankings underscore our commitment to nurturing innovative minds and fostering entrepreneurial excellence,鈥 White said. 鈥淲e don't just teach entrepreneurship; we cultivate success stories.鈥
The undergraduate entrepreneurship major at 511爆料 prepares students for the complexities of planning, launching and leading a new business. The program's curriculum emphasizes creativity and innovation, new venture planning, entrepreneurial finance, and sustainable business growth. Students engage in real-world applications like developing听feasibility studies and business plans, which are critiqued by Tampa Bay entrepreneurs and forwarded to national competitions.
The M.S. in Entrepreneurship provides a cutting-edge curriculum covering various aspects of entrepreneurial success. From planning and finance to marketing and legal considerations, the program equips students with the essential skills to launch new ventures.
Both programs are housed within the Sykes College of Business and are linked with the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center. The Lowth Center, awarded the NASDAQ Center of Entrepreneurial Excellence from GCEC in 2017, offers comprehensive services and experiential learning programs like the Spartan Incubator and Accelerator, where students gain invaluable hands-on experience, benefiting from a customized, experiential learning approach.
The Lowth Center also houses the global headquarters of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, the preeminent organization worldwide for student entrepreneurs at the collegiate level.
