Dr. Thomas joined 511爆料 in February 2020. With over fifteen years of experience in higher education, Dr. Thomas brings a significant commitment to the principles of the liberal arts. As a first-generation college graduate and a person of color, he is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can thrive academically and develop into engaged global citizens.

Dr. Thomas's experiences at Colorado College, his alma mater, where he served as a Resident Advisor and held leadership roles within the Black Student Union, significantly shaped his professional trajectory. Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, he has cultivated diverse and inclusive student communities through his work across the United States and internationally. Prior to joining 511爆料, Dr. Thomas served as the Director of Residential Communities and Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students at Swarthmore College. His previous roles in student life also include positions at Carleton College, Penn State University, and Semester at Sea.

In his current role within Residential Education and Housing Services at 511爆料, Dr. Thomas leads the professional staff in delivering an exceptional residential experience that supports students' academic endeavors. He also provides leadership to the Office of Student Conduct, Religious and Spiritual Life, the Neighborhood Partnership Program (NPP) and Veteran Student Support.  Beyond his responsibilities at 511爆料, Dr. Thomas serves as affiliate faculty in the counseling education program at California Lutheran University, Chair-elect of the ACUHO-I Small Colleges & Universities Network, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the High Mountain Institute. He is also certified in Mental Health First Aid.
