My name is Olivia and I鈥檓 a junior American Studies major and Black Studies minor at Oxy. I鈥檓 excited to be back on campus after being away on Campaign Semester last fall! This will be my first semester working as a Writing Fellow, and I鈥檓 excited to grow and learn throughout the spring while working with students. My name is Lyn, and I am a senior studying American Studies major at Oxy. I am so excited to return and continue working at the Writing Center this year to support my peers and their writing processes. I love learning about music, planes, Queer history, and cooking. Outside the Writing Center you can find me gabbing with my friends on the quad with an iced oat latte in my hand, but you can always come up and say hi!

Coming into college, writing assignments seemed daunting and I was good at procrastinating. At the Writing Center I hope to make every step of the writing process more approachable and to support students at any confidence level. Outside of the WC I love to eat, watch movies, and sew.

Hi! My name is Rebeca and I am a sophomore Economics major with a minor in Biology. I'm from Pasadena, CA, and this is my first year working at the Writing Center. As a writing advisor, I am most looking forward to hearing about what interesting topics students are writing about. I hope to support students as they thrive to become better writers and to build their confidence in their writing skills. Hi everyone! I'm Jazzy, a Junior from Orange County. I am a Politics and Economics double major, on the pre-law track. This year is my second year in the Writing Center and my first year as a Writing Fellow. I'm looking forward to supporting and encouraging students through all stages of the writing process. Because the Writing Center has been such a great resource for me, I hope I can help make it one for you too! Hi, my name is Ari, I'm a junior Studio Art major and IW minor, I love reading, love writing, and helping people out with any kind of paper, any kind of question. A lot of the time, especially from my experience, half the battle of writing is conquering self-doubt. I'll be here when you need to back your paper with some thought-out theses and a little "yay!" It can get you a long ways, trust. I also do a really good Dr. Phil impression so if you hear him from the Writing Center, don't worry-- it's just me.

Hi everyone! My name is Josey, and I'm a sophomore Philosophy and Music double major from Bethesda, Maryland. This is my first year at the Writing Center, and I can't wait to help you all develop your creative process and explore your favorite parts about writing. I hope I can reframe writing for students as a project to look forward to rather than dread. Hi! My name is Alphonse, and I鈥檓 a Junior CSLC and Asian Studies double major. I love writing and have poured my being into creative fiction, poems, and expository essays. Simultaneously, I have first-hand experience with the frustration of writing, where words seem to cobble up and collapse into an intelligible mess. I鈥檓 Sophia, a third year who loves words, dance, Big Sur, and Swiss cheese.
